While entering the group captive space requires more initial time for a broker or consultant, the long-term rewards easily justify the investment. Renewals in group captives are less time consuming, and employers typically provide references.

Pareto Captive Services works with a limited number of distribution partners.  We invest significant time and resources into our partners and expect a large commitment from them in return. 

Ideal distribution partners will be:

  • Proficient in helping employers set up and maintain self-funded benefits plans
  • Well-established with a book of existing employers that are good candidates for employee benefit group captives
  • Experienced with property-casualty captives or other alternative risk vehicles
  • Willing to commit time and resources to growing an employee benefits group captive practice (we are not seeking brokers who plan to write one or two accounts)
